Green tea can be the healthiest beverage on this planet. It is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients which has powerful effects on body. We cannot deny the healthy benefits of green tea.
But as we all know that excess of everything is bad so it must be consumed in moderation and do not exceed the limits.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF GREEN TEA

One cannot deny the health benefits of green tea if use in moderation. Here are some of the health benefits of green tea.

WEIGHT LOSS

Green tea can effectively helps you in loosing certain amount of weight by increasing metabolism.

But green tea alone won’t work. Healthy diet regime and workout has to be added if you want a successive weight loss.
You cannot rely on green tea alone for losing weight. Many people consume high amount of green tea believing that it will help more faster to lose weight, instead of losing weight they develop other health issues due to over consumption.




DIABETES

Green tea helps to regulate blood sugar levels by sudden rise in blood glucose after eating. This in turn prevent high insulin spikes.


CANCERS

It can reduce the risk of certain type of cancers like esophageal cancer.

CHOLESTEROL

It reduces the amount of bad cholesterol in blood and improves good cholesterol.

MEMORY

Green tea protect brain cells from dying and improves memory.

TOOTH DECAY

It protects tooth from decay by destroying bacteria.

SKIN CARE

Because of having anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties green tea help to slow th process of aging and wrinkling of the skin.


WHEN AND HOW MUCH GREEN TEA YOU SHOULD CONSUME




Now the next question arises in the mind that when should we consume this healthy drink.
Taking tea on empty stomach has disadvantages so you should consume after meal or in between meals.
The quantity should must not be exceeded from 2 to 3 cups daily. People who consume large amount of green tea on daily basis can develop its possible side effects.

SIDE EFFECTS OF CONSUMING EXCESSIVE GREEN TEA

Green tea is the healthy drink to have, but taking too much green tea will have side effects on the system which includes:

STOMACH PROBLEMS

Green tea contains tannins and caffeine which cause increase in stomach acid and can cause stomach ulcers and stomach pain.

IRON DEFICIENCY AND ANEMIA












Consuming large amounts can hurdle the iron absorption from the body which in turn leads to iron deficiency anemia.


HEADACHES

Caffeine in the green tea can make you feel dizzy and can cause headache.

INSOMNIA

Taking green tea late in the evenings can cause lack of sleep.

KIDNEY PROBLEMS

Polyphenols in the green tea can lead to kidney damage if too much quantity is taken.

BLEEDING DISORDERS

Least but not last green tea can lead to bleeding disorders.


CONCLUSION

People consuming excessive amounts of green tea are not taking advantage but slowly damaging their health as it has to be use in moderation.
Green tea alone will not help to lose weight .A healthy diet plan and exercise will work side by side to achieve a healthy weight.
