RE HYDRATE YOURSELF BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER WORKOUT

For an effective performance during your workout proper hydration is extremely essential. Your body requires water to survive. About 70 percent of human body consist of water.
So make your workout sessions more effective by keeping your body well hydrated to give your best in the gym.

DAILY REQUIREMENT OF WATER

Water is not only lost by sweat but also when we breathe. Human body loses water every minute so it is very important to overcome the lost amount of water especially in hot n humid climate.

PRE WORKOUT DRINKS

Nothing is best than water. Drink few ounces of water half an hour before hitting gym.
This will keep body coordinated and hydrated.

WHY WATER IS IMPORTANT






















Body needs water to maintain the body temperature, removal of waste products and to lubricate our joints.
It will prevent dry mouth, lips and throat.
It will keep the skin healthy and fresh.


WATER DURING WORKOUT

Well! I prefer drinking sips of water during cardio session every 20 minutes.

DO NOT gulp more as this will make it difficult for you to run and you might feel full.

DOES WATER WILL HELP YOU TO LOOSE BELLY FAT

Alone water will not help one to lose weight if a healthy diet and exercise is not added to the regimen. But YES water will help you to burn more calories as digestion will become easier and you will feel full for a longer period of time.

DRINKING WATER DURING WORKOUTS


I have heard ladies saying that don’t drink water during workout as this will make you fat and bloated. This is extremely wrong concept infect drinking sips of water during exercise will make your stamina and prevent fatigue.

WATER FOR ORGANS AND JOINTS

Water will lubricate your joints during exercise and prevent cramps, fatigue and dizziness.
Water is also essential for cardiovascular health. And removes waste products from the body.

HOW TO MAKE WATER EASY TO DRINK

When you exercise you not only loose water in sweat but also important electrolytes such as sodium and potassium.
Squeeze a lemon in water. It can replace the lost electrolytes and make it easy to drink during or after workout.
You can also add slice of cucumber or any fresh fruit in water to give it a taste. Adding flavors to water make it more appealing and easy to drink more.

DON'T GO FOR READY MADE DRINKS


You can find flavored water written as zero caloric ones but it contains hidden sugars and preservatives.
Prepare you own lime water or any flavor you like.

DRINKING COLD WATER DURING EXERCISE

Drinking few ounces of cold water during workout is more effective as body has to burn calories in order to bring it to normal temperature. But studies have shown that water at room temperature will hydrate you well though cold water is more quenching.

CONCLUSION

Don’t forget to grab your water bottles before hitting gym as there is no harm in having few ounces of water in between workouts and keeping your body well hydrated to maximize your performance.
